Duration
You can take between 1 and 3 years to complete this course but however long you take, you only have to pay the tuition fees once at the time of enrolment.


Final qualifcation
The University will award everyone who completes the course and has been awarded 30 credit points a “University Studium Generale Certificate”. For those who complete the course but who do not have a secondary school qualification, a “University Attendance Certificate” will be awarded. 


Teaching languages
The teaching languages will be German and Italian. There are no language requirements to be admitted to this course.


Tuition fees
The tuition fees for the Studium Generale course amounts to one payment of  €450.


Enrolment onto single subjects
If you only wish to follow one subject offered by the Studium Generale course, you can ask to participate as a “single subject participant”. The cost is €150 for each subject followed. If you wish to follow this option however, you must have a secondary school qualification. You can then do the exam at the end of the course and acquire the credit points as detailed before. It is also possible to attend the Studium Generale course as an “auditor”; someone who attends the course but cannot sit the final exam and so cannot be awarded the credit points. You can attend as an auditor even if you do not have a secondary school qualification. The cost is €80 for each subject followed. (link info)
